I for one, love snow! And I know that many of you do not. I also know that every time the weather changes, we engage in some deep conversations about the weather, how hot or cold it will be, how much we dislike the seasons, but most of those conversations end up finishing with something along these lines: Well, everything has its beauty and even if we complain about it we cannot change it, so we better make the best of it.
Now think about life, day to day life. Your job, family or the people you meet everyday. In a way all that can be sum up in the very conversation we just had about the weather. So today I want to encourage you to get out there, enjoy and make the best of every situation that comes your way, and at the end remember that God might have something to do through you in the midst of all that.
Philippians 2:14-16 The Message (MSG)
14-16 Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing.
