Psalm 30 (NIV)       Psalm 30 (MSG)

To you, Lord, I called;
to the Lord I cried for mercy:…Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me;
Lord, be my help.”
11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

God is merciful.

Isn’t it good to know that we can cry out to God for mercy, for help, whenever we need to and wherever we are?

Remember what Jesus said about mercy, “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Matthew 9:13)

Give thanks for God’s mercy this day.
