Here are two short passages to help us remember God’s goodness and grace. It’s a good day when we can dwell in such love.
Psalm 103:2-5 (NIV)
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Colossians 2:6-7, 13
6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness…God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins…”
It’s a good day when you can visit the hospital and are healthy enough to walk out and go about your life.
It’s a good day when you have someone who loves you and someone whom you can love.
It’s a good day when you understand that God loves you with an extraordinary love in and through the Lord Jesus.
It’s a good day when you allow the love and compassion of Jesus to flow through you to someone else.
When is it a good day for you?
